MelodicRock.com is gigantic web portal and magazine that recognizes the fact that this type of music still has a large legion of loyal fans throughout the world. As Joe Lynn Turner says, "Just because the grunge movement came in and took over the airwaves in the 1990s here is the USA does not mean the fans of this type of music stopped liking it. They were just not being 'fed' this music as often by radio and video music television channels. MelodicRock.com fulfilled that need and continued to 'feed' fans with news, audio and more great features about this genre of music and the artists who continue to churn out high quality albums today."
Founding member of The Ides Of March, Survivor and now mastermind of Pride of Lions Jim Peterik says: "I am thrilled to be a part of the landmark AOR show of the year! All of the talent that is synonymous with what we all loved about the 80's will be there all in honor of a man who has done so much to promote that music. Everyone is charged up and ready to do their best show ever. We will give you a night you will never forget."
And ex Mr. Big vocalist Eric Martin adds: "The face of rock and roll music has changed so many times that it's hard to keep track of the adjective that comes before the word rock. Dust off your black concert Tee's, polish off your cowboy boots and don't hurt yourself squeezing into your leather pants. Keep the dream alive & kickin' in South Bend."
