Frontiers Music - About Us

Founded as Frontiers Records in 1996 in Napoli, Italy, by Serafino Perugino, as a business specializing in the Italian distribution of European Melodic Rock indie labels, Frontiers soon developed as one of the cutting-edge indie label companies in Melodic and Progressive Metal, Classic Rock and Hard Rock Music. Frontiers has become synonymous with quality music in the international markets with about 1500 releases in almost 30 years and quarterbacking successful returns from legendary and timeless artists such as Winger, Journey, Toto, Yes, Mr Big, Blue Oyster Cult, Glenn Hughes, Whitesnake, Boston, Asia, Alan Parsons, Electric Light Orchestra, Van Zant, Def Leppard among others.

At the same time the label developed and set up many exciting new projects and bands to release of Rock's finest voices or give some still established artists the chance to show a new side of their musical personality! Shining examples are REVOLUTION SAINTS (featuring Deen Castronovo on lead vocals), W.E.T (with Jeff Scott Soto and members of Eclipse and Work of Art), THE DARK ELEMENT (featuring ex-Nightwish singer Anette Olzon and ex-Sonata Arctica guitarist Jani Liimatainen), PLACE VENDOME (the project which brought Michael Kiske back to Rock), SUNSTORM (with Joe Lynn Turner first and Ronnie Romero later at the helm) and of course the stunning PRIDE OF LIONS, featuring former SURVIVOR main songwriter Jim Peterik and vocal star Toby Hitchcock.

And of course, a ton of exciting new talent launched during the years (from ECLIPSE to ONE DESIRE and INGLORIOUS, then CRAZY LIXX, LORDS OF BLACK, PERFECT PLAN and of course several others) which is now where the A&R focus of the label is.

As of today, Frontiers Label Group manages its imprints Frontiers Music Srl, FLG and BLKIIBLK, and it is headquartered in Italy for administration and financial services with a UK Branch in London for UK & Europe A&R and Marketing operations. A US office headquarters all the North American operations including A&R and Marketing. US legal representation has been entrusted to the Entertainment Law Firm based in New York City & Nashville, Serling Rooks Hunter McKoy Worob & Averill LLP, while in Italy and in Europe, Frontiers legal affairs are followed by Dario De Cicco of De Cicco Arts & Media Law Firm in Rome.
